This 40-minute workshop aims to assist management in identifying the key aspects of supporting employees' psychological wellbeing. It provides helpful insights and communication strategies to assist employees with a clear understanding of the new work conditions and provides suggestions for any physical and psychological support that may be required in the process of change.
The areas covered, include:
- Ensuring WHS COVID-19 processes and procedures in the workplace
- Nature of work - How is it going to change?
- Identifying and supporting employee emotional wellbeing with resources including workplace adjustments, empowerment, and external referral services
- Acknowledge health and safety concerns in the workplace and commute
- Navigate dynamic changes to work practices and safety issues through management, colleagues, and self-adaptation
- Sense of wellbeing: Identifying signs of excessive stress, anxiety, and lowered mood
- Propose strategies to care for self and others at home and in the workplace
