Wellbeing Checks

What are Wellbeing Checks?

Psychology Melbourne’s Wellbeing Checks are a brief and cost-effective way for people to check the current state of their mental health in key areas of their lives. They offer an important first step to identifying issues and avoiding more serious problems.

Our Wellbeing Checks give you a snapshot assessment of key areas that you may be struggling with, including Anxiety, Self-Esteem, Relationships, Assertiveness and Substance Abuse.

Mental health includes your emotional, psychological and social wellbeing. It impacts the way that you think, feel and behave. Poor mental health can affect your self-esteem, your interpersonal relationships and cause physical health problems.

When you purchase a Wellbeing Mental Health Check, our reception team will then contact you to book an appointment at a convenient time.

How do they work?

Our Wellbeing Checks start with an initial screening test that will be sent to you online. This test will assess the health of key areas of your life. It is followed by a 15-minute phone consultation with one of Psychology Melbourne’s registered psychologists.

At the end of the consultation, a written summary will be sent to you, including your test results and recommendations for a way forward.

Our registered psychologists will discuss the concerns you may be having under strict confidentiality and provide practical tools and techniques to help you move forward.
