Wellbeing Checks

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological and social wellbeing. It impacts the way that we think, feel and work.

Psychology Melbourne’s Wellbeing Checks can help employees identify which areas of their emotional and mental health they may be struggling with and improve the way they are handling stress and anxiety in the workplace.

Addressing mental health issues as soon as possible avoids more serious problems developing.

What is a Wellbeing Check?

The Wellbeing Check is a brief and cost-effective way for employees to check the current state of their mental health. It can be an important first step to managing their mental health and avoiding more serious problems developing.

The team of registered psychologists will discuss under strict confidentiality the concerns an employee may be having and provide tools and techniques for a healthier and happier life.

How Does a Wellbeing Check Work?

1 test + 15 min phone consult + written recommendations

Cost: $50

The Wellbeing Check starts with an initial screening test to assess your employee's level of depression, anxiety and stress and is followed by a 15-minute phone consultation with one of Psychology Melbourne’s registered psychologists.

At the end of the consultation, a written report summary will be sent to the employee, including their test results and recommendations for their way forward.

Companies in Psychology Melbourne’s EAP program can purchase one or more Mental Health Checks online. When you purchase one or more wellbeing checks, our reception will contact you immediately to confirm the order.

Your employees will be able to self-refer by calling our reception on 1300 161 639 to arrange appointment times.

Other Checks Available

Psychology Melbourne provides several wellbeing checks that give you a snap shot assessment of key areas of your life, including Relationship Health, Assertiveness, Alcohol Usage and Self-Esteem Checks.

For Employers

Employers can also cover the cost of mental health checks for employees under the Employee Assistance Program. Employees can self-refer for a mental health check prior to ongoing counselling sessions, if the checks are included as part of the company's capped sessions.
