Elly works part-time across both public and private mental health settings, supporting young people, adults, and older adults with a range of presentations including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, emotional regulation difficulties, learning differences, autism, and ADHD. She has a particular interest in autism and ADHD assessments for adolescents and adults, and in providing neurodivergent-affirming therapy that supports quality of life and recognises individual strengths.
Her experience includes work in private practice, hospitals, primary schools, and older adult counselling services, delivering therapy both in person and via telehealth. Elly takes a collaborative and culturally responsive approach, drawing on evidence-based frameworks including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and play-based strategies. She works to provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their concerns, build on their strengths, and work toward meaningful personal goals.
