I believe that all individuals are capable of change regardless of change however reluctant we might at times to break with the status quo. I have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and over my 16 years of experience working with clients, I’ve often been humbled by their courage and their commitment to examine what hasn’t been working for them and why. I encourage clients to embrace new techniques and strategies that produce greater satisfaction and happiness and work, home, personal relationships and other important areas of their life.
I work with clients in such a way that creates a safe and encouraging environment to make those changes. I work with everyone from adolescence right through to senior years and cover a wide range of problem areas such as stress management, anxiety and depression, grief and loss, relationship difficulties and eating related difficulties. I work from a cognitive behavioural framework (CBT) and use principles of solution focused therapy and mindfulness. My focus is helping clients recognise and build on their strengths and make the important links between their thoughts feelings and behaviours. I have a warm and empathic approach and am grateful for the opportunities to help my clients. I look forward to working with you in your endeavour to achieve an overall optimised wellbeing.
