Carissa is an experienced psychologist and rehabilitation counsellor who thrives on helping clients achieve their goals. Carissa is supportive, empathetic and compassionate, and believes in creating a non-judgemental space to facilitate understanding and connection.
Carissa has worked within leadership roles within organisational settings, as well as in clinical practise, and has a strong understanding of the challenges which both work and home life can bring. She helps clients understand their own individual challenges and develop individual strategies. Carissa has a strong interest in neuroscience and enjoys incorporating evidenced based behavioural tools which supports healthy adaption and improved functioning.
Carissa is an experienced group facilitator, previously running courses in anxiety management, and reducing and managing stress, along with courses for people with ADHD symptoms and diagnosis.
