I am a registered psychologist with over 20 years' experience working in the mental health field. I am passionate about empowering people to be their best selves and live meaningful and fulfilling lives. I have been driven by a deep desire to learn about the workings of the mind and our emotions, and find ways to improve people's wellbeing and help them overcome mental and emotional obstacles.
I have worked in a wide range of community and corporate settings where I have been able to further refine my skills as a counsellor, coach, mental health trainer and project consultant.
I take a holistic approach to mental health and believe that true healing and growth must address all aspects of a person’s life, including their physical, psychological, social and spiritual wellbeing. I believe prevention is the best treatment, and wherever possible I focus on assisting my clients to develop the skills to strengthen their mental health and deal with stressful situations before they become a problem.
In my personal life, I enjoy spending time in nature, gardening, keeping fit and healthy and connecting with my friends and family. I also have a special interest in spirituality and the role it plays in supporting personal development and wellbeing.
I consider it a privilege to work in a field that can have such a transformative effect on people’s lives.
